And welcome.
I have bought tons of stuff off craigslist simply because you can see it face to face and check it out. This was my own stupidity for not checking. The point was that there is a problem with this phone. Caveat emptor for craigslist.

Hello, I am a new Android user. I came over from the WinMo side. I bought a Behold II off of craigslist. I like the phone its just that the phone itself has a few problems.
When I first looked at the phone it was turned on and seemed to be working fine. I did not open the phone up (since it appeared to be in perfect condition) so I did not find out about the damage inside until I got home. I did try to get my money back but short of calling the police there was not much I could do.
I called Samsung and told them the story. They promptly cancelled the warranty. I kind of thought Samsung might be interested since there could be a small liability problem here.... but I was wrong. I offered to send them pictures but they said no thanks.
Anyway here is the picture. It is obvious from the picture that the phone overheated internally, there is no external damage to the case. I don't know if this happened when it was plugged in or not.
This has been my introduction to Android and Samsung. I like Android, Samsung not so much. I am posting this so people are aware of a possible problem with the Behold II. On the plus side the phone still works.
