FriendCaster Pro Notifications

Well, after FriendCaster updated their app, so notifications work with the new Gmail, it seemed to have failed again. What appears to be happening is that I'm getting the email, I get the email notification from Gmail, later the email gets deleted. However, I don't get the Facebook notification sound I set up in FriendCaster. If I then start the FriendCaster app, I get the notification sound then which is pretty useless.

I have an HTC Desire Z with the latest Gingerbread update.

How's the notifications working for others? Are they still working?

I probably shouldn't have updated both and just kept the old versions which were working for me.

I'm getting very sporadic results. Sometimes it will notify me and delete the email, sometimes it will delete the email and not notify me, and sometimes it will do nothing (as in I get the email, but no notification)

To be honest it's starting to get very frustrating. The app itself is mediocre at best, and I only paid for it for the gmail feature. When it works it's fantastic, but they need to fix whatever the gmail update broke ASAP

Im getting the same problem as well!! Very frustrating!! Wish I never updated

There was an update for FriendCaster Pro yesterday. I got the update and it appears to be working again.

lol. I don't do gmail notifications and it notifies me just fine without it.

I like being notified immediately rather than at the next polling interval.
