I just installed friendcaster yesterday and for the most part, I really like it. the only thing that is really unsettling is that I cant seem to get it to alert me of anything happening on facebook unless I open up friendcaster. as soon as I open it, I get a popup alert that I have a new message or what have you but I dont get an alert any other way. I am not really understanding what the whole deal is with having to have your alerts set up to Gmail or what have you, but I did as the intructions say and made a new Gmail account just for friendcaster alerts, and set it all up like it said but nothing happens unless, like I said, I open up friendcaster. Any thoughts on what I may need to do to fix this. The best scenerio would be if FB for android would do more stuff. Even FB for BB is better than FB for Android which is weird lol. I just have the regular FC, was thinking of paying for the pro, but not if I cant get it to send me a simple alert. Thanks in advance for any help
