Help FriendStream

Has anyone had any luck getting Twitter added to FriendStream? I'm able to get Facebook, but for the life of me, I can't seem to add Twitter to it. I'm able to log into Twitter with the built in app, but within FriendStream itself, the only options I have are Facebook or Flickr. Any ideas?

If you're still wondering about this, it seems that some custom ROMs have readded the HTC Twitter app so you can indeed get both Twitter and FB on your FriendStream. You'll have to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery first. The instructions are in the All Things Root forum on a sticky.

Just got the HTC Evo V 4G on Virgin Mobile. Struggling with the same issue that Twitter is MIA for FriendStream. Has anyone found a fix that doesn't include rooting?
Thanks

Unfortunately no, sorry...have to install HTC Twitter as a system app to my knowledge and for that you need root

I offer the suggestion of a different app. The HTC sense widgets and apps are CPU and battery hogs. Android Pro Widgets has a timeline widget which I love that will show combined Facebook and Twitter feeds. Works well with many of the 3rd party apps for both like FriendCaster Plume etc. There are other choices for apps that combine both feeds also.
