From iOS to Android...

There is a link online, I can't find it for love or money. But, this link allows one to sort of 'unregister' from iOS, hence text\SMS messages while using Android, etc. will work just fine...

Does anyone have said link?

i dont know ios.. or iphone...
but from my memory.. from reading...

something like...
it is not a link. it is a setting in the iphone.
you have to activate your iphone again (or put you sim card back in)..
go into the sms settings..
turn off the apple messaging service thingy (what ever it is)...
reboot...
deactivate iphone.. activate your new android...
tell your iphone friends to take you of their iphone thingy list..

then you should be out of apple's wall garden and free to go /do as you please...

In CM7, I can see a user agent setting, in the message app, with a short list of phones to spoof as (nokia, BB, iphone...).
