Help Front camera not working, help!

Hi all, I have a sony ericsson xperia neo v but its front camera is not working. Every time I switch to front camera the screen turns totally black. The camera used to work but I have no idea what happened, can someone help me?

First confirm if the camera lens is clean, if there is something that might be blocking it. If not the case then I'd suggest to run the Repair Phone option on PC Companion to confirm if this is some kind of software problem. Here is the link for PC Companion:

I have the same problem, but instead of getting a black secreen i get a white screen... I don't know if it is a camera problema or some software that i've installed and corrupetd something ...
