Help Front Facing Camera is inverted?

My front facing camera takes inverted pictures and video. Like if I take a picture of myself facing left, when I view it I'm facing right. Or if I take video, when I play it back I have to turn my phone upside down to see it the right way.

Is this correct? I didn't see any settings in camera mode to change this. My back facing camera takes normal pictures and video. It's just my front facing camera doing this.

I am strictly guessing, but that camera is really intended for video calls. Maybe they did that so that when you turn left, your image turns left on the video call.
Like I said, just a WAG, but hey - make a video call and give it a try... :)

Most people find it more intuitive for the front faceing camera to behave like a mirror. With the flipped image when you have something on the right side of your face it will show up on the right side of the screen rather than the right side of the images face.

What you need to understand is that the front facing camera shows you an interted image on screen when you are shooting. This is so that the image onscreen moves the way you expect when you you move the camera or turn your head. When it writes the image to memory it records the image with the proper original orientation such that writeing isen't backward. This will appear to be the reverse of the way it appeared when you clicked the shutter button. If you are getting upside down video you are rotating the phone in the wrong direction. The menu you see on the left in vertical orientation should be at the bottom when you hold the phone horizantally and the timer or picture count by the thumbnails are at the top left and right side up.
