I'm new to android so watch out, but I've been having a problem with the snapchat front facing camera flash. On the iPhone, the front flash is bright and quick, but on my Samsung Galaxy s4 mini, the flash is slow and dim. As a result, the pictures turn out extremely blurry almost to the point of a black screen at night. Is there any software tweak I can do to this, or is it a physical limitation to the device? Thanks

I think that's the way it is on that phone, a single little puny LED with a moderate, not particularly sensitive camera. The S4 Mini is not a top-end flagship device, unlike the iPhone or its full-sized S4 brother, and is a couple of years old now. Although check that the LED window is actually clear and clean, as this is not a new phone. Basically it is a physical limitation of that particular device.

Yes, the LED is not very bright and the camera is not super high quality. But on snapchat on all devices, the front flash is just a bright white flash on the screen. The problem is, that screen flash on this device is not bright at all. I know this phone isn't even close to the quality of the iPhone or later galaxys, but I think the screen flash could be brighter as the screen itself is bright.
