Help FroYo 2.2 to Eclair 2.1

So, I wanted to get froyo for my samsung galaxy s I9000, but i downloaded an samsung captivate froyo 2.2 version.
So how can i get back 2.1 version? And is it possible to do somehow?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

You can change the firmware using Odin as long as you can still access the 3 button download mode, does this still work for you?

I tried it, but it's not working.
I'm searching for other download modes, i found some other ways to put phone in download mode, but haven't tried them yet.

If you know a link where to get eclair 2.1 please send me
