Help FROYO destroyed my phone, EXPERTS PLEASE HELP !

Stock Phone, NO ISSUES, 2.1

NO Kies Mini Issues, Driver Issues Etc, Downloaded Froyo 2.2

Let Phone Re Start Itself, Load Cache, etc

Phone Re Starts Constantly, Freezes, Can not open Text Messages or Use Phone, Extremely Lagged. Did notice I have original wallpaper but home screen icons/apps gone. Thats no problem I just want phone to work. When phone goes idle button on right does not work or brighten it back up. I tried going back to Kies to maybe download update again but I cant

What do i DO ??? Please someone with experience or detailed knowledge help. I see many upgrades went flawlessly but and my process was going fine but I guess im one of the 10 whose fun got totally screwed by update.

Options? Detailed advice on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep out how your update went fine and what u think i should do, Im trying to keep clutter down and find remedy as soon as possible
 
Since your phone is still stock, I would consider taking it back to at&t. Maybe you could complain enough that they let u get an early upgrade on an atrix.

Everybody keeps using the Atrix argument like its a proven phone already. Its only been out for less than a week - Its Motorola (which has a history of crappy products) and its unproven - I think I'll stick with my Cappy for a while longer being that its fairly proven at this point and we know where the bugs are.
