Root Froyo for Galaxy S on XDA

Has anyone see this? There are now two leaked 2.2 ROMs, one for the Galaxy S (I assume International version) and another for Telus Fascinate. I am sure both are GSM phones, but looks promising.

I think the Galaxy S 2.2 is listed under JPU or some title like that.

What do you guys think?

There are many Galaxy S Froyos, including Cyanogen 6 beta, and have been for a while. Soon there will be a Galaxy S Gingerbread.

None of these are helpful for Fascinate owners.

Really? Because I've seen posts about Froyo for Fascinate and I kept reading that nothing had been released yet...I guess that meant nothing had been released for the Fascinate aka CDMA Galaxy S.

I assumed that was aligned with my understanding that we hadn't yet had Froyo for Galaxy S.

yeah there are many leaks and even official froyo for the other galaxy s phones and even the telus fascinate...but us, usc mesmoreize, and cellular south showcase do not yet have a leak to build from

the other 2.2 variants have not helped development so far
