Help Froyo on X10

How do?

My first post in these hallowed fora, so I thought I'd jump in feet-first. Is it safe to put Froyo on the X10? I can't be nithered waiting for SE to get their act together.

The reason being, I want to be able to use it as a remote wireless mousepad and keyboard for those winter nights when getting out of a warm bed is just not an option!

The phone hasn't been rooted so unfortunately we are stuck with waiting for Sony Ericsson.

Tried others, but for some reason the firmware (1.6) doesn't like bluetooth remote type stuff.

Which is a bugger. And in other news, I only just got the thing, so I haven't tried that app yet.

I've seen that it's rooted now, so any update to this on compatibility?

Yes the X10 has been rooted for about a week now. The boot loader has not been cracked yet and until we get that there is no chance of any 2.2 roms unless sony mans up first.

Not quite sure what you are looking for in an app tho bluetooth is handled quite nicely on my phone. Maybe a little more data on your needs and some one may have that jewell of an app you need.
