froyo update problems

I got my unbranded phone from 3 on contract and updated to froyo while on the road. Since then, my phone gas been slightly slower, my battery life has halved, there isn't any update all button in the market and the internet has been working inconsistently.

How do I re do the update or fix these problems?

Are there any fixes for it ? The battery life is getting worse even after a factory reset.

try taking the battery out then putting it back in..
