Root Froyo with Sense soon?

Froyo To Roll Out On 3 Devices Next Week!

Just read that the HTC Droid Incredible will be getting Froyo between Aug 6th and Aug 15th.

Does this mean that some wonderful Dev could have a rom with Sense for the Eris soon?

The incredible is 800x480
instead of 480x320

In all probability, it will be 210000x easier to cook up a ROM when a 480x320 phone gets froyo with sense, which it will eventually, as far as we know.

Patience. It's not that much better, I threw it on my coworker's incredible.

i bet if one or more of the (more skilled) devs tried to port the desire sense rom over to the eris it could be done in a week or so but they all have their own lives that they are taking care of and probably don't have enough time to roll out a sense froyo rom.

but if it is on a 480x320 phone then it will be ported over to the eris in a few days at most.
