Android Froyo 2.2.1 ruined my HTC my touch 3g Eric Clapton fender LE phone!
On Jan. 30th I got an update notice on the much anticipated Froyo 2.2.1 operating system. I had heard this was faster & better for the phone like jumping from Win.XP to Win.7. After installing everything ran very slow and the dialer did not function twice! I wanted the 1.6 version that came with the phone so I backed up everything and did the factory reset. After doing that TWICE Froyo 2.2.1 kept launching I could not get it back to 1.6. Apparently there is no UNINSTALL feature on this OS so I am stuck with it. I contacted T-Mobile and they said if your phone is out of warranty too bad we can
