i have a samsung galaxy s3 straighttalk and it is frozen on the lock screen, and it will not show the black bar at the top of the screen and it will not power of. what do i need to do.

Try pulling the battery out. Leave it out for a couple of minutes, then see if it's any better (the wait is to ensure that the silicon is completely discharged, to clear any stuck bits in the memory).
