Help Frozen. Return times from htc?

So my one x is frozen at the start up htc logo, won't go any further, rang htc support, tried factory reset, booting into recovery etc, nothing O_O

Took it back to optus a couple of days ago. They said htc shouldn't have it for more than 5 days. Anyone have any experience with warranties and htc? How long did they have your phone for?
