Help Frozen screen

HI,
Could someone help me out plz. my thunderbolt power button stopped working last week i was sent a replacement phone. it has only been 4 days since i received the replacement now the screen wont work and the phone gets very hot. it takes about 30 minutes for it to boot (im really not exaggerating) and when it finally does I cant slide the screen down to unlock it i still receive calls and messages but i cant answer any of them. Is there a way i can reset the screen or something to get it working i need to get my things off. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I cant access it to do a backup assist. what can i do?

Call them back and ask for another replacement they sent you a defective unit

You could try booting to hboot and doing a factory reset. Assuming that doesn't work,call them back as yeahha said. Don't be afraid to keep calling and having them send phones until you get one you're happy with.

VZW pretty obviously has monkeys in charge of the refurbished program. They are not known for quality replacements
