When i turn my experia play on all i am getting is a grey screen with lines across it. I am unable to use any of the keys and the only way I can power off is by removing the battery. I can power on ok with the normal switch but it just goes straight to this grey screen. Please help!

This is likely to be a hardware problem, whether it is the flex cable or something else I could not be sure. However I would advise that you get the handset back to the place of purchase so that it may be assessed by an authorised repair agent.
