It runs just fine on my Droid X. Before you start crying foul on the developer, blame it on your 2.2 ROM.

the new update is awesome ! it runs so smooth on droid x! even with the flame blade haha my high score on arcade is 616!

you should look at the reviews in the market. Plenty of people have text/graphic problems.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the feedback. We are aware of the text bug which has affected a range of devices, the other reported issue that we are aware of is (to a much lesser degree) that Fruit Ninja only displays in half the screen resolution. This is somewhat a trickier issue to resolve, but we are on it and are working on providing another update asap which will rectify both problems. The plan is to get this update out late this week, but we will not release this update until we are 100% certain that both issues have been resolved. Considering the vast amount of devices we have to test on and differing OS's etc this will be our only impediment in achieving this.
@ludist210 - not that I'm disagreeing with you, but why do you blame the 2.2 ROM? Fruit Ninja is our first entry into the Android market and it has certainly been a steep learning curve for all involved and we are still learning... so the more information that you guys are willing to share with us, the better we can serve you.

Someone's been hacking the scoreboard... some of the top scores are simply ridiculously. There's this on person has got a score of 10000337 in arcade, which is 4 magnitudes bigger than the next highest score, 1878.
I supposed that the only surprise is that why didn't this happen sooner? (Mirror's edge's leader board got hacked to hell and hack, with people completing races in less than a second.)

The Captivate's "official" build is still at 2.1, not 2.2. It's a custom ROM. There have been "official build leaks", but not an official update from Samsung yet.

I noticed this too, it's in all of the modes though...person with the top score is in the 10-100 million range while the next closest person ins generally around 1500 or so in each mode.
