Help Frustrating chrome browser error after Lollipop update

Screenshot from my wife's phone when you click on the chrome browser. My phone hasn't updated to Lollipop yet so I don't know if this will happen with mine.

Every time you close chrome and then click it on again, the number after "document://" keeps getting bigger. If you hit a tab or the home button you can get to a functioning, normal page. But when you click on the icon you get this every time. I've tried uninstalling, updating, googling, clearing all app data, everything but a factory reset. Driving me nuts.

Me too. That's why I'm on here now. I've gone through settings and changed the home page and still get the same thing. If I find how to fix it, I'll post it here.

Hey, I updated chrome today and that remedied it.
