I have a samsung admire that is saying that its charging when its not even connected to anything. The battery runs out quickly. I cant be without a phone. Any suggestions?

Wow thanks for the information, literally you thought of it as i was typing it haha.
Anyhow i would suggest first off doing a hard reboot, by taking out the battery and putting it back in to see if it works.
Otherwise i would suggest to back everything up with your Gmail account, you know contacts, apps, music, etc then factory reset if the phone is still messed up.
