Help full batt notification beep!! arghhhhh

After updating to 4.1.2, it now constantly beeps when the batt is fully charged and the charger is plugged in. Its irritating me in the office and at home when i charge.

It basically means, you have to unplug from charging the moment the batt reaches 100%.

Does anyone know of any solutions without having to root?

Charging it in another room, or silencing the phone cant be a solution, as i would still like to hear my phone ring whenever. And that shouldnt be the way anyways....

Hi there

I don't believe there is a way to turn it off with stock setting options. You will need to look for 3rd party app.

Surprisingly tho, My S3 and Note 2 doesn't do it. And I wanted that feature, ever since experienced it first with my S2, Gingerbread. But it was gone with the upgrade to ICS, and had never returned since.
I'm however aware, that this is very random behavior based on different origins of the phones. And some users want that feature, while others can't wait to get rid off it.

All my phones are international units, purchased in Malaysia, directly from Samsung, unlocked, not running any telco firmwares.

Nope, there is no solution unless you root and "disable" the files corresponding to that sound.

OK, so even if all notifications are set to silent, the battery full will still blast through.

The only sound I need is phone ring.
