Guys and Girls a new app on the Market called Bluetooth File Transfer claims to have full sending and receiving function WITHOUT ROOT!

Give it a try and see for yourself! I can't test it out being I have no other at hand at the Moment. Did it work for you guys?

@ PurpleHaze Welcome to AF forums! :D

@ Jeremy , My phone is your everyday Vodafone Non-rooted stock rom 32B board handset , Not modified in any single way :)

To use this Purplehaze , enter the app , go to the relevant file you want to send {HINT: Pictures and vids are in folder DCIM} -> Long press on the item you want to send and click "send with bluetooth" -> Press the "menu" button & search -> You should see the device you want to send to pop up on the screen. Click it and it should start sending the file {May have to enter passcode first , which can be 0000 on both phones} and your finished

Does this help?

doesnt seem to work for me on a magic. says cant register bluetooth service into the SDP. Reason NO ROOT permission or user pressed "deny" button. I didnt press the deny button (dont even know where it is) and my magic is not rooted. Anyone know a way round this looks a very good app if I could get it to work.
