Full wallpaper problems

Yes, another cropping issue for trying to get a whole image as the background.. So.. after having issues with the crop square refusing to get any bigger than x amount of my image, I downloaded Picsin or something and resized the image to 1/3 the original size, and then tried to set it as a wallpaper, yet the crop square would only still let me select the same (erm cant think of the word)..... the same amount of the picture as when it was 3x bigger.. Then I read somewhere that an app called wallpaper set and save would let you set full wallpapers.. but that hasnt worked either, it doesnt even let me crop an image.. I'm starting to get a bit frustrated, and any help would be nice

i now use wallpaper wizardrii and that seemed to have solved the similar problems i had

Keep in mind that the crop box has a fixed ratio of dimensions. If your image doesn't have the same ratio then your entire image will not be selectable. The image will have to be stretched or cropped. It's fairly straightforward geometry.
