Full Web Browsing on TV

Hi,
So i just purchased a Samsung TV today and to my luck it doesnt have a web browser, just widgets.

My problem is i want to have a full web browser on my tv and be able to surf the web while lounging on the couch (dirt.mpora.com , Dirt Tv and you will see why). Right now im looking into getting the Sony Google TV Blu Ray device (i would get the revue but i need blu ray and amazon has the sony one for 280 vs revue for 225).

I was wondering if i had other options to that? Currently i am waiting for the Galaxy S2 to come out and will buy that the first day, when it comes out, will i be able to display the galaxy s2 screen wirelessly to my tv? So use the tv as a monitor? Like is that possible on any current android phones?

I would connect the computer straight to the tv, but its in another room and i dont think a wireless keyboard has that long of range.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

How about getting a nettop PC with a Blu-ray drive, instead of the Sony Google Blu-ray player? Then you will certainly have full internet browsing on your TV and a Blu-ray player.

Dont nettops cost around 350 dollars?

Probably. You did say you wanted a 'full web browser' and therefore the full internet, including Flash, Silverlight, Java and whatever other things are needed for a full internet browsing experience. TBH most other non-PC devices are often lacking in some way, e.g. Blu-ray players.

Use a KVM extender from your home PC to your HD TV. Its that simple. Dont bother with all the other junk. Don't know why the TV/DVD world has not caught up to create a good device with full web browser. Probably lots of politics involved.

I went through this about 6 months ago when I was planning on dropping my cable bill and looking for a Google-TV'ish device to be able to pull up our favorite shows online (hulu, abc.com, etc). Looked a Roku boxes, Apple TV, Google TV, etc. However finally had to up our budget and just get ourselves a nettop PC in order to get all the features we wanted. We got an Acer Revo that came with the (then) latest Atom dual core CPU, 2GB RAM, Windows 7, and a wireless keyboard/mouse for $350. Was more than we were initially looking to spend, but I feel we're way happier with it then we would have been with one of the other set top boxes out there. YMMV.
