Root Full wipe after root?

I installed the update file for JB on my RAZR MAXX, then rooted it. If i perform a FDR will I loose root? right now I have OTA Rootkeeper, but just wanted to be sure before I did anything.

Thanks

I too just received and updated to JB. I had root prior to JB and I used Voodoo Rootkeeper and Temp Unrooted for the OTA, but then reapplied root thru voodoo.

If I do a FDR, I assume I will be safe with root and the phone should reboot without issue right?

I used EPRJ Easy root when I rooted on ICS

Yes, an FDR does not affect root. It wipes your personal data and apps from the phone, so you need to set it up again, but it will still be rooted.

The wipe is easy, reinstalling apps takes forever unless you back them up in TiBu as an "update.zip" file

I Forgot about TiBu.. how does Update.zip work in this case?

I figured I would just make a back up of what I wanted to keep and then reinstall after a Reset.

Also is it better to reset and wipe out the SD card ( internal one) or does that not matter too much?
