Funnel substitute

Yes, I would have gotten a real one if I could find it. I have been to numerous stores, some of them quite big. Why would such a seemingly ubiquitous object suddenly disappear? I guess I could use a measuring spoon from a set, or maybe a sieve...

What would you be using it for? There are specific ones made for specific purposes so knowing what it would be intended for would guide us to where you could find what you need.

I thought Wally World was just in the movies. The Griswolds were pretty disappointed. As for funnel web spiders, I bet they do some amazing stuff. I just want one to transfer liquid from one container to another.

I had no idea funnels were so hard to find. I have the copper one my grandmother and mother used when I was a child. It's a little worse for wear now--but, hey, at 70+ years old, I guess that's expected, right?! :)

A quick search yielded bazillions of results, so I went to my favorite store for household stuff, Bed Bath & Beyond, and looked at theirs. They have a few and I've sorted them by price.

I hadn't thought about Bed Bath and Beyond but they do have the best array of kitchen items. From cheap to quality, they have the goodies.
Indeed they do! I spent a lot of time on their site earlier this year, during that remodeling/renovation thing we did. I love their selection, and have lots of stuff around here that I bought there, including my new mattresses. I have a Beyond+ (or whatever they're calling it now) membership, and its savings actually add up. It's well worth its annual fee, at least in my opinion. :)

I wouldn't call myself one of their big consumers. The local BB&B is not really very local to me. We have shopped there and have never been disappointed in the selections and quality of products they offer. When daughter #1 left home we sent her off with most all of our kitchen tools and silverware. We replaced all of that stuff at BB&B and most of it is still in use.

Exactly! I remember buying my daughter her first few pieces of Calphalon cookware at the store in Dallas; I bought all my original Calphalon there, too, and it's still in use. It has a lifetime warranty, and I actually made use of it once. We had followed its cleaning instructions to the letter, but something got burned on and would not come off. They replaced it just like that! I've added a piece here and there over the years. I love Calphalon and even though I'm rarely the one cooking these days, it's the only brand I buy. I guess you'd say I'm a loyal customer. :)
