What I liked most about it was that the "carpenter" tried to make it wrap with a series of small cuts. Unfortunately leaving it at 45/135 and nailing them together doesn't actually change it off of centerline...DOH!

He had the right idea.. just the wrong angle. The number of intersections times two needed to equal ninety degrees less on the back side of the base than the front. His workmanship at going around the corner matches his quality along the straight walls. :)

My work is just a notch above his.

Hahahaha.. 'Notch' in an android thread, Lol. That does look good tho. Was that the rubber flexi-board stuff? If not, then you are a champ! Really, I just call someone when I mess up some trim and hope they don't just call me names in response, Lmfao

I guarantee you he is showing you true workmanship of his own hand. ;)

The base was three layers of quarter inch ply laminated together at the radius.

Anyone can work wood. Making a living at it is the hard part. :)
