Funny pictures!

Some thieves will take anything that isn’t tied down. Huge nuts apparently don’t deter them, either. ;)

Why is it too often Florida?!? ;)

It sometimes seems like all the wackos from 'up north' come down here to live.

When I was a kid the state was sparsely populated. Then came central air conditioning, and my hometown went from having fewer than 2,000 people to over 1,000,000 in a few short years.

What kind of person would move to a warm climate, refrigerate their home to 68 degrees, and then constantly complain about the heat and humidity outside?

That right there says something about a person's intelligence.

(And unfortunately, they vote.)

More OT…I grew up in Phoenix at a time when very few homes had AC. Many had evaporative coolers, which wouldn’t have been a useful option in Florida due to the humidity. Once central AC came along, so did the population boom.
I often reflect on what life was like before either option…like what my grandparents faced when they settled there after losing their Kansas farm due to the depression and a thieving banker. :(
