I once dated a woman who had an upscale home and the bathroom faucet was sort of like what you’re describing and it had low flow, too. The rest of the house had good pressure so I’m guessing they probably build the faucet with restricted flow to prevent problems. After all, none of us like to have to explain a big wet spot on the front of our pants!I actually like the concept, if it was done right it could be a very cool idea for a sink!
We stayed in a rustic hotel once that had neat sinks where the water ran down a trough, then over the edge like a waterfall into the sink.
The only drawback was that the water pressure sucked, lol.
Of course, that was due to the design, as it would have made a mess otherwise.
