I actually have one of these. If I need to drill one hole in a piece of wood, it's a lot easier than getting the electric and possibly an extension cord out. I don't use one often enough to justrify buying one with a battery pack.

Just to help, not to complain, I'm not able to load a picture either - using either chrome based Brave or Firefox.

I click “attach files”

It says no file chosen, so I choose and there is an upload button, so I click that.

It shows the file name and a broken picture icon and says no file chosen. Then I'm stuck in a loop. (you can click it to see the joke)

I'm using Chrome. First, I copy the image address from wherever. I next click on the photo radio (Insert Image) next to the link radio here and choose the link option and past the address of the pic I've copied and insert. Then I post the reply to the thread. The same sequence I've used since AF went to XenForo software. I'm working the forums from a PC.

Still I cannot direct upload from my p.c. hmmm...

I encountered the same upload from my PC problem until I grabbed a file that I had resized. (the above pic) If this is the problem everyone is having, it is nothing new. There must be some file size limit set. I often upload pics like the above and have to resize them before the forum will accept them. I usually resize my uploaded images to 500x500 or there abouts.

1) Resized the photo on my HD to <70k (about the same size as what shows on this site)

2) Clicked Attach Files

3) Went to my HD and clicked the reduced picture and followed through for this result...
