My two brothers had the blanket fort and other types too Sharondippity. My only secret spot of protection was the summer I commandeered the loft in the barn and made an observatory out of it with my friend Cheryl. We thought observatory meant observing everybody else out the barn window lol.

We also used blankets to hide us for puppet shows, which we did with hand made sock puppets, or folded lunch bags like they use for Fandango commercials..
