I've refused to keep winders on any machine I own. <...snip...> Then Linux came out and that's been my go to on non Mac machines since.
For my side hustle, making musical Style and Song collections for Band-in-a-Box, www.nortonmusic.com - I need to use Windows. It won't run on Linux, and the Mac version's "Style Maker" has fewer options, which means, Windows version can make better styles.

My main occupation is playing music. I play sax, wind synthesizer, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals, in various levels of competence/incompetence. My duo parter (who I eventually married) plays synth and guitar plus she is a great singer www.s-cats.com

I make my own backing tracks, recording the drums first, then the bass, then others, saving the most fun parts for us to play on stage. Most duos buy karaoke tracks, but I feel doing them myself is better for a number of reasons.

Mac and Windows are about equal in that department. Some of the app/tools on Mac are better, other app/tools are better in Windows. Both have come a long way since the 1990s and are capable of doing some amazing things.

But that's definitely OT for this thread, so on with the fun... ... ... (Who designed the graphics on this one)
