I collect matchbooks ... thats alot of money there ...
My mother had a matchbook collection from the forties... war years. I remember seeing them as a child but they were tossed like so much worthless... and then valuable stuff my folks had when they built a new home in the early seventies. I collected waxed paper drink cups from the fifties and sixties. Every wannabee establishment had their own printed drink cups. Not to mention early examples of franchises that made it big. They hit the dump in the late sixties when I left home.
