We had 3 stations, well 4 if you counted PBS.
My grandma had 7 stations and no PBS.

I loved going to Grandma's house. Saturday afternoon always had old sci-fi movies on the Ashville channel.

Growing up in the UK in the 1950s and 60s we had two channels, and sometime in the late '60 we got a third.
