Help Fusion 2: how to store photos on memory card?

gogogeek

Lurker
I just got the at&t Fusion 2 5665 with an additional memory card.
1. how can I set up the phone so photos are stored on the memory card instead of internal memory?
2. the photos I made are stored now on the internal memory. When I plug the USB to download to my PC, I can not see any photos. How can I download photos to my PC using USB?
Many thanks!

How to store photos on your External SD Card, "ATT Fusion 2"

Step 1: Plug the phone into your computer.

Step 2: Wait for your fusion 2 to say "USB Connected" (it will say this in the notification bar at the top of the screen)

Step 3: Pull down the notification bar by swiping your finger from the top of the screen down.

Step 4: Select the "USB Connected" option.

Step 5: Click the "Turn on USB Storage" button, and voila!

Your computer will now recognize the device as a mass storage device and you can get your photos off the internal and onto the external or your computer.

Apps2SD (apps manager) by Sam Lu is one way to get all of your apps onto the SD card.

I believe this would then change the storage location of your camera photos without having to plug into the computer.

Im gonna poke around the phone later, and see if I cant find an option to do so natively with the settings. Those ways I listed above should work in the meantime though.

In regards to your #1, If you open up your camera app, there should be a settings tab or such that you can open. Among the options you should see an option to store your pics on your sd card. I hope this and the above post will help you. Please consider hitting the thanks button on the above post to express gratitude for a member taking time to help you out... it's a great gesture.
