Fuss about size

I have a Note 2 at the moment and am interested in the Note 3 due to its power and the upgrade of the S pen. I have watched a few videos on you tube comparing the size between them and they seem to show the Note 3 to be a fair bit longer. I have just been to my local Three store where the girl got me a Note 3 from behind the counter (as the show model was up high) and putting it on top of My Note 2 you have a job to see the difference in length plus it is narrower and slimmer so what is all the fuss about it is a massive phone. So now when my upgrade is due I will get one.
Hope this info helps all that are worried regarding the size of the Note 3.

its no bigger physically - well maybe a mm in length but its also slightly thinner and not as wide. As the back is grippy too, it feels better too.....although just seen the new Sony z1 and LG...very nice.

Yeah, the difference when I put my 2 up against a 3 was negligible. Also, the whole idea that one looks silly using something this "big" as a phone is, well, just silly. A) Any home phone is bigger than this, is attached to the wall one way or another and just does calls and maybe voicemail. B) It wasn't all that long ago that people would rave about having certain "feature" phones that weren't really all that smaller than the Note 3. A Motorola V3 closed was 98x53x13.7 with that first dimension almost doubling when open and against your face. The Note 3 is only larger than the V3 open in width. So yeah, when someone makes a fuss about the size of a Note, I have to pretty much dismiss them.

Now that I actually have one I agree that the fuss about the size has been overblown. I never thought of myself as having big hands but compared to some of the review photos and videos I've seen my hands must be huge. I have very little trouble accessing both capacitive buttons with my thumb while holding it in my left hand. I will admit that it's not as easy to get to all places on the screen as it was with the S2 though. The thinner bezels are leading to some unintentional screen taps but it won't be that hard to adapt to them.

I saw and held a Note 2 in a BB yesterday for the first time. It's muuuuch bigger than my Rezound, but not nearly as unwieldy as some say. Note 3 will be perfect for my use.

The original Note was wider and shorter than the Note 2. Now the Note 2 is wider and shorter than the Note 3. The screen size also went up by 0.2mm with each step up. See a pattern here?
