Just doing my duty and introducing myself. I've been lurking here for quite a while. I've been sitting on an i*hone 3G for over two years now, waiting on the right smartphone to release. The only reason I even have the 3G is because the most attractive smartphone to me on Verizon at the time was the Blackberry Storm and I wasn't exactly too impressed with it. The only android phone out at the time was the G1, but I refused to switch to T-Mobile since their 3G network didn't even reach my job. So the 3G pretty much won by default since getting a Windows Phone was out of the question!
So now I've just been sitting here looking for the best time to jump into the android market. I'm a computer engineer and I've gotten sick of listening to all my friends and coworkers have android conversations at the lunch table. Being a CompE, it seems naturally an android phone is right up my alley! Thought hard about getting the Droid X (I hate hard keyboards), but figured I'd wait on the next set of android phones released for Verizon. Before the 3G, I had been on Verizon since my freshman year of college in 2000 so I've just been biding my time before I jumped back on the big red ship.
Anyways, hope that's enough of an introduction because that's all you're getting!
