Future phone similar to the Evo?

Does anyone know if Verizon has any plans to release an HTC phone that is spec'd similar to the Evo? I had the Evo on Sprint but couldn't handle the horribe coverage or continuous billing mistakes, so I came back to Verizon and jumped on the Incredible. I really miss the Evo and everything that it could do, mostly the giant screen size and some of the other options that it had, that the incredible doesn't.

I know that some people on this board have some insight as to what VZW is planning in the future and I was just curious.

I have NO interest in the iPhone.

Looks like a great phone, hopefully the specs are up there too. It would be nice if Verizon would release it sooner, rather than later.
 
Is that a front facing cam I see on the front of that thing? I am currently with Sprint and HATING it! The service I get is HORRIBLE, droped calls, EXTREMELY bad battery life due to my Moment "searching for signal" all the time. Its just BAD, really really BAD! I am now trying to decide if I want to break my contract with them to get hooked up with Verizon and get a Droid X. Its got all the specs I like EXCEPT the front facing cam. IDK though, I have always known Motorolla for haveing great reception and call quallity. Maybe Im still up in the air on which phone I want too.

From what I understand, this will be known as the HTC Incredible HD, yes, with a front facing camera :cool: Just hang in there until Nov 23 I think it is!
 
I don't get the Nov 23rd date. Something that strike me as odd... I thought this would be a 4G phone, similar to the EVO, so I was expecting early 2011. Furthermore, the front-facing camera would tend to reinforce that idea since I can't see Verizon releasing any 3G-only phone capable of video calling. (I don't think EVDO is well suited for handling video calls.) So the biggest burning question is will it be 4G capable? I'm thinking "no" if the Nov date sticks, though it's technically after Verizon turns on LTE. I'd also like to see hdmi out, but haven't seen any indication of it.

Whether it makes sense or not I believe this device, especially if it drops in 3 weeks will be 3G.
