Help G SENSOR calibration

Does anyone konw what effect this has on the phone? my screen is sometimes unresponsive, particularly on the left hand side and i'm wondering if theres a fix for this. Love the phone but this is driving me nuts. I'm less inclined to text anyone now as its takes so bloody long to keep tapping the bloody letters out. Please someone tell me if theres a way to improve this.

G Sensor calibration is used to calibrate the accelerometer and gravity sensor. In no way it as anything to do with SCREEN CALIBRATION.
That's the way it is. It's a touch screen phone. But try Swiftkey X app. You'll love it.

what does it actually do/improve

Might be a silly question but do you have a screen protector? Mine doesn't stick down on the edges because of the curved screen so I have to tap a little harder, especially near the sides. As for what the G Sensor does I tried Googling it a while ago and still can't figure out exactly what it does. It's strange that the setting would be in the Display Settings if it doesn't have anything to do with the screen.

No screen protector....did however take the advice of an xda dev and disabled "tell htc" and the screen seems to be far more responsive infact everything seems much faster Have no idea why but hay...who cares once it improves!!
