Help G Tablet will Not Completely boot up

I have a G Tablet with the system as shipped. When I power it on I get the Viewsonic screen. Then the GTablet screen, but it stays on this screen longer than it use to. When the TAPnTAP screen comes on, it will restart the TAPnTAP screen again and then the tablet shuts off or at least the screen goes black. Any ideas?

I can not get to my Gtab to determine which BRANCH (1.1 or 1.2) I should download. I downloaded the USB DLLs for the BOOT and put my Gtab into APX Mode as described but, I can not see the Gtab in file explorer to determine the BRANCH. Am I missing something?
