Help G1 3g help!

I have a Canadian Rogers HTC Dream, aka G1. it is unlocked and i have tried to get 3g up and running with the APN settings all set but nothing is happening. could anybody help? I have all te correct settings and both Bell(My service Provider) and HTC have confirmed that i did follow the right steps but they still have not solved it. THANKS IN ADVANCE
