hey there , i am new to this forum but very versed in other forums (non sp related)

wifes G1 did something to the sdcard a few weeks ago , it jacked it up so it had to be reformatted , i reformatted and factory reset the phone just to be certain all was ok . her phone was working ok for a few weeks , i just tried to hook it up to wifi , received unable to start wifi message , did a lil research , didnt find anything definitive on how to fix so i did a factory reset again , well now it wont sign in to google account ?? wtf?

got any ideas ?

Could be a problem with the wpa supplicant file (or was, before the last reset).

Check this out. Doing backups and chmod utilities would be easier with a thirdparty recovery on it.
