G1 Tethering App Yanked From Market -- MORE to come ?

Wow- I seem to remember the T-Mobile VP or rep (Cole Brodman, see this link: http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/23/t-mobiles-cto-on-g1-unlocking-and-tethering-plus-a-few-detai/ ) at the G1 Launch stating that T-Mobile would likely not care if someone developed a tethering app. This is not the way to treat your users. Especially those of us who adopted your new platform based on the claims of openness. I originally chose the G1 due to T-Mobile's good customer service record, and the fact that I had been with them for several years. I may begin to consider Cingular if this trend continues.
