G1 usage in The Netherlands

I'm planning on buying a locked G1 from the USA. I live in the Netherlands and am using a Dutch T-Mobile SIM card. Will I be able to activate my G1 with my Google Account after I purchased an unlockcode from http://www.htccode.com/ ?
