Help G1 wants to reboot the desktop? window? w/USB connection

This is somewhat strange. i'm running a T-Mobile G1 with the most recent OS, i think it's Cupcake. Anyway i run aTrackDog every evening to see what program updates are available and update them. Yesterday after updating i plugged the phone into my computers USB port and after a couple of seconds the phone rebooted the desktop. i don't think it is a complete shutdown because i just get the Android screen and in a couple of seconds the phone is o.k. again and then it reboots again. If i unplug it, it will reboot the dt and is alright.

i'm running the aTHome Console for a desktop and i think the only thing it updated was the SimCheckerLite.

When the phone tries to connect to USB the top bar rotates 50% and stops.

Any ideas as to what's going on? i'm going to uninstall the SimChecker and see if that fixes it.

Have a great evening! :)

Nuts. i forgot to add that it doesn't do any of that when plugged into the wall -- sorry. Good ole G1.

Have a great evening! :)

Giggle. i just remembered that i had set the screen to 15 seconds a couple of days ago. So i set it back to 30 seconds and presto, bingo! We're a-o.k. again.

Thanks for your concern and offer to help. Pretty strange, eh?

Have a wonderful evening! :)
