Help G2 Frozen after man. install of Gingerbread - HELP

Hey everyone.

So I used this method to install the gingerbread update on my tmo G2. My phone is working perfectly fine.

I did the same to my gf's G2, but hers is frozen on the boot screen now. It says update is in progresss, don't turn off. Its been stuck on that screen for over an hr. What can I do? Im afraid to turn it off or anything.
