g2 or G3 vigor?

Just switched from Veriozn to Sprint. Bought an LG G3 Vigor because of its smaller size. However, there are a couple of things missing that really bother me. The biggest one being no auto brightness. Went into the Sprint store and looked at the G2. The sales person said I would have a better experience on the G2. However, I don't like the icons and overlay quite as much on the G2.

Does anyone have feedback on these phones? I use it my as my primary camera, email, surfing, and GPS. It seems that the size is close enough.

I use the Lux app for brightness on my G2. There is also Velis.

G2 all the way. It may be a year old but it is still one of the top 10 androids available, IMO. I've owned 2 of them and I loved them both.
