Help g3 screen dimming slightly

Hi all , when I turn on the screen on my g3 after a few seconds the screen dims ever so slightly and is noticeable , the percentage on the brightness scale stays at the 75% tho , its set to 75% all the time , not using auto brightness , unrooted using Nova launcher , anybody else's do it ???

Do you have Smart Screen turned on? I've never been 100% sure if it really does anything or not, but maybe it's dimming because it thinks you aren't looking at it?

I do yeah , I've noticed something tho , if I turn on the screen when the room is dark meaning at night then it doesn't do it , just wondering if the light sensor is going a bit faulty
